The best bait to use have been night crawlers inflated with garlic oil, chartreuse, purple nymph and garlic power bait, flat orange, white and bubble gum power worms.
The best places to fish from the shore have been the point & the flats by the launch ramp. The best fishing spots from the boats has been the bubble hole in front of the dock, three pipes and the flats by the small island.

Next trout stocking will be Tuesday – February 23
This past weekend was outrageous! Fishing was excellent! Anglers landed a ton of beautiful Emerald trout after this past Tuesday’s stocking. We finally had a beautiful weekend after these rains and finally got a beautiful load of Emerald trout. The best bait to use have been night crawlers inflated with garlic oil, salmon eggs, garlic power bait, pink bubble gum and chartreuse power worms. The best places to fish from the shore have been the point & the flats by the launch ramp. Fishing from the boats has been the best with most anglers getting their limits. The best fishing spots from the boats has been the bubble hole in front of the dock, three pipes and the flats by the small island.
One lucky angler spent 30 min hauling in 16 lbs carp by the creek inlet and the fish is thanking his lucky fish stars he was released! No carp soup!

January 25, 2010
· Next Stocking on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 has been cancelled
· Trout stocking on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 is on schedule
The lake is currently open to angler. And the recent shore anglers, since the rains, have been having luck at the mouth of the creek inlet and the launch ramp. The best fishing from the boats has been the three pipes area and the flats. The best baits to use have been inflated night crawlers and garlic power bait. We recommend using scent due to the water clarity.
